Product Lifecycle Management is the process of managing the entire lifecycle of a product from inception, design, production, to service, and disposal. PLM integrates people, data, processes and business systems and provides a product information backbone for companies and their extended enterprise.
However, in a CNC workshop the management of NC programs is not only tied in with the product (part), but also depends on limited capacity, production resources & tools on the production date.
WinTool closes this gap and gives machining engineers a powerful tool to provide flexibility in allocating and changing operations, while at the same time handing the data release control to the PLM system when drawing revisions occur.
